Unless the jewels are very valuable it's unlikely the OR will be interested. This is a difficult one. I always advocate total honesty with the OR but I sympathise with the sentimentality. I'll reserve judgement on this one and leave it to your conscience. OR will have no interest in your household goods so don't worry there

I'm sorry I can't offer advice as I'm only just starting out on my own BR journey, but can I say thank you for posting your I&E list, as this is something I am thinking about and trying to work out how I'm going to put it all down personally (Me and my OH have a system where I pay rent and he pays for *everything* else, but guess I am going to have to do an I&E as if I were just paying for my half of things (or for those who have read my other posts, I will be paying for rent and him for everything else when I start earning proper money in Sept).)
So thank you and good luck with everything :)

housekeeping could be uped to about £260 maybe, petrol?? £50.. could add more to that and make it £80 maybe, holidays £40 per month is allowed, hairdressing £10 per person is allowed. this then leaves no room for the OR to impose an IPA for 36 months.

    Thanks for the reply
not sure about the petrol as I only work 2 miles up the road. But cos hubby currently unemployed god knows where he is going to have to travel to so will put it up

:( Holidays????? whats one of them we havent had a holiday since we got married in 2000 firstly since I was at college and then cos we have been with payplan since june 2001

not sure i can get away with hairdressing for hubby as he bald!!!!!

Have a look on the CCCS website because they have an expenditure sheet which details all things you may need to budget for. I had lived off credit for so long I didn't know what to put on the form but my advisor at CCCS helped me complete the form, and reduced some of the amounts I thought I might need. She did this based on what the OR would use to calculate your budget. When you live on credit for a while you forget what you really need to live on. If you are like me and buried your head in the sand for a long time a lot of the things you think you need are not necessary at all.
