Hotel stay win problems!!!!

At the end of last week I had a telephone call to say I'd won a hotel stay and vouchers. I was given a choice of 2 dates, last Sunday night or this Sunday night.
I chose this weekend and have arranged childcare, travel etc but up till now, haven't received confirmation of the hotel booking. On Wednesday, I got the vouchers & rang them to say I hadn't had a confirmation & they said they would get back to me. It's now Friday and I've heard nothing.

Tried ringing again but no answer as yet but I know if I don't hear today, I'm unlikely to get it tomorrow so will just have to forget it.

Sorry such a long rant, I'm just worried we're going to have to forget it when we were really looking forward to it.

I'd keep ringing if i were you - i'm sure the hotel will pick up the phone eventually.

I'd also send them a quick email and if they are on social media, get in touch there too!

Sorted it ! Got so annoyed , I let the phone ring for five minutes before someone answered. Apparently, the girl who was dealing with it has already gone on holiday and hadn't left any details. I rang the hotel myself to check and it had been booked but on the wrong night! They changed the date for me, so all ok.

I don't know why but when it's a prize, I hate chasing and making a fuss, when in "normal" life I'm not exactly quiet! lol x
