 Whilst cracking down on mis selling is to be encouraged and Npower do have a poor reputation re dealing with vulnerable customers this response seems a bit of a sop to me. Either you were mis sold or you were not. If you were then surely you should be compensated ie regardless of your being or not being a "vulnerable customer".0

Hi
I actually got a letter from them the other day about this issue and i gotta fill in a bunch of forms and they are asking me about my previous supplier which was british gas - all sorts of information which i cant even remember! so ill try to fill it in best as i can
I do recall around teh time this miselling happen i had such a ridiculous monthly bill of around £164 (DD) Per Month for a 3 Bedroom house 2 people only - and we dont even use heavy gas or electricity
only for me to ring up after like 8 months and have a moan at them to end up getting £500 quid Refund back! so i was clearly being ripped off good and proper
i am going to fill the form in i got and see what materialises from this
thank goodness i aint with them now0 -
From the article linked to:Paul Massara, npower's chief executive, said: "We've worked very closely with Ofgem as they’ve investigated these previous issues. It's good to draw a line under this, so we can focus on our goal of becoming number one for customer experience by the end of 2015."
I think Paul Massara is just sticking up two fingers to Ofgem, who deserve it, and its customers, who don't.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

As they are so bad, I wonder why he is sacking experienced staff and sending to india?Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Ed Davey is supposedly going to "order" them to sort it out - according to the Sun the other day - talk about the blind leading the blind

Davey needs to give them a target date to meet specified improvements, and if they don't make it, then they lose their licence. I bet he isn't saying that - but isn't it reasonable for him to do so?0 -
It would be in my opinion yes but I very much doubt that he, Ofgem or even anyone else in Parliament has the backbone to do so I'm afraid. Little wonder that Npower appear to continue to believe they can just do as they like0
