I really like some of the Molton Brown hand washes (Rockrose & Pine Hand Wash is divine) but the prices mean I only get to use it at my (rich) brothers place.
Does anyone know of a company offering similar sorts of products for people on an average income? am thinking of around the £5 rather than £16.
Cheers

Have you tried Bayliss and Harding, very similar packaging and probably lots of gift sets around at this time of the year.0

Do you live near an outlet village which has a Molton Brown shop? I've been to Salford Quays and Cheshire Oaks ones. They're never as low as £5 but definitely cheaper than getting them from John Lewis.
Maybe have a look on eBay as well.0 -
Isn't it just soap? I'm sure you could get something just as good at Lush, or as stated from Baylis and Harding.

Personally I think Babyliss & Harding is very very poor quality - but some people may like it. Its always on offer in my local chemist and certainly worth splashing out a couple of quid to see if you like it or not !!0

I have found the hand washes are as good as any other. I don't quite understand why people pay an absolute fortune for Molton Brown ones as they don't seem to leave my hands in a better state than other brands. They smell nice, but I am not paying £16 for something that is only on my hands for the time it takes to wash them. I just don't seem to have any luck with Molton Brown. I was once given a shampoo and conditioner for a present and they left my hair in a horrible state.0 -
I found Molton Brown handwashes very drying.0
