Kindle Fire prize- how do I remove someone's name ?

One of my Advent wins was a Kindle Fire HD 7 inch device (from Mumsnet on Facebook).
I've unpacked it all and started the set up, but it thinks I'm someone else- and I've no idea how I de-register it so I can set it up under my name...
Currently I'm charging the battery.
Tried the search function on here, but it's not bringing anything up, though I'm sure I remember seeing something similar.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
