Windows 7- can't read pdf files

I tried downloading adobe reader and it says it's already installed.
Yes when I try to open any pdf file, A pop up appears asking what program to use.
What should I do?

I'm sorry. I've just picked the option Adobe and 'always use this program' and it's all fixed.
