Cheap 5kg protein powder suppliers?

Hi guys,

Are there any websites where you can track protein supplement websites? I am in particular looking at 5kg protein powder bag suppliers etc.

I know myprotein usually have a good price but sometimes paying £44 but wondering if there is anything cheaper around with just as good quality.

These are pretty good and the range is fairly wide. There is a decent topcashback available on this site for new customers of 10.1%
This one has a very limited range but the prices are lower on most items. No cashback available and you have to pay £7 for delivery. However it usually arrives in less than 24 hours.

I have purchased from both of these and myprotein to a lesser extent.
  • My other half buys his from Hectic Sports, although they do have an ebay store & it tends to be much cheaper if you buy from there.

    There ebay store is: hectic_lifestyles

A cheap and very effective protein is one you can make yourself at a fraction of the price of powder

1 litre semi or skimmed milk
egg white powder (add as much as you need, i use 6 egg white equivilent)
Chocolate flavouring or whatever flavour you like, you can also use essence like vanilla, whatever you feel like.

Blend the lot, put in the frigdge till chilled, bring to gym in a cool pack and drink it when finished training.
    Owed out = lots.
  • Milk is getting quite expensive.

However Sainsbury sell 400g powered skimmed milk for £1.01. 60g per pint so 6 2/3 pints for little more than £1. You can also mix it up stronger to increase the protein.
  • Tesco also sell powdered milk, the cost per kg of protein comes in at around £7, the only problem is that you get 1.25kg of lactose with that protein!
Which may or may not be a problem.
Generally, other than powdered milk, you cannot make your own shakes for less than the cost of the best priced protein powders!
If someone can show me an option that is cheaper, I'd be happy to be wrong!
  • I search for the cheap protein on the internet and usually try to test different producers. Don't know if price considerably determines the quality of the proteins... But sometimes i found quite cheap. For example £43.99 for 5 lbs, same deal as yours, LiveOnce. Last time i bought from here. But we could find better price.
