6 months smiles braces

I do apologize if this is in the wrong area, newbie here.
Basically on groupon, there is always a deal on for 6 month smile braces. At the moment, I have £200 saved, they are on for £695 for one arch (only looking to get my top arch done as my front teeth badly overlap and one next to them sticks out pretty far.) But then the cost of a retainer will also be added to that, does anyone have a rough idea of how much retainers cost? I'm assuming it'll take the cost up to £1000, which means I will be able to afford them by June or July at the latest. I have no worries about the deal still being around as it always tends to come up. Just wondering if anyone has went for 6 month smile and can share the experience? The reason I don't want metal ones in is because I am 27 now and work with the public, I am already extremely insecure about how my teeth look never mind adding fancy studs to them, plus I want them in and out as quick as possible as I tend to grind at night without realising and I'm sure that might be an issue with retainers.
Anyway, if you do have any experience with 6 month smile, please share them with me.
Thanks
Melissa

I think you need to get the opinion of your dentist, and ideally an orthodontist as well.
These 'quick' systems are very limited in the sort of problems they fix, and if you feel wearing retainers is going to be an issue, then you might as well not bother, as the teeth will just moved back once you've finished treatment.
Groupon and the like area very bad way of getting items of dental treatment.
Get the opinion of your own dentist, and then a specialist, and take it from there.
Quick fixes very often aren't!How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
Speak to your dentist and he will advise what you need and what (if any) help/treatment is available. Some years ago my daughter (adult) had to wear a brace for over a year, she was referred and treated for free at the Dental Hospital.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0

Why you want smile braces because if you can increase your face smile without any side effects by using dental laser treatment. Laser dentistry is more beneficial as compared to traditional dentistry. I would like to prefer laser dentistry to solve my any dental problem.0

Success of six month braces( shorttermbraces.com/6-month-braces/overview/ ) depends on how good is your dentist. Also matters how well you look after your teeth during the treatment and after. Also 6 month braces are not intended to move all the teeth. It is mainly aimed to align front 6 or eight teeth. Since it is not a comprehensive orthodontic method, it will attain its objective in shorter time span as short as six months.0

i have 6 month braces on at the moment
had them on last week...totally worth it for me!
Ive only got my top arch on as i want a nice smile for my wedding.
You can see them but not as much as you could a normal brace - no one at work has even noticed!!
the time frame was a big thing for me - they dont take as long as traditional braces as they focus mainly on the front 6 teeth - but your orthodontist will be able to tell you if they are suitable!
xxHiya! :j:A
