I've broken my windscreen wipers
Options
In the early hours of this morning getting the car warmed up to go to work I decided it would be a good idea to turn the wipers on when the window was still very frozen. They moved a little then stopped altogether and won't work.
I can still hear the motors going which must be a good thing, but the wiper arms seem to have disconnected themselves - I can move them freely by hand.
Will this just be a case of taking the scuttles off and rejoining the cogs or will it end up rather expensive?
Going to see what's going on in the light tomorrow...

Should be a simple case of reattaching a popped ball joint.
Invest in one or more of these.

That ones for a punto, think they're pretty generic though.
Possibly avaliable cheaper as well, that was just the first one I came to.0 -

To be fair, a few weeks ago, my wipers stopped as well. As I took them apart to reconnect the ball joint, the drivers side wiper had seized on
I now have a can of specialist cutting oil just in case it ever happens again.0
