Hope its terminal and they die a death, parking eye deserve nothing lessWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Fairly typical of the predatory, unethical and deliberately unfair way PE work. The driver is meant to know how long they had parked, even though PE's cameras know exactly how long and could easily tell the driver (you know, in the same way as traditional get-a-paper-ticket-on-entry-pay-on-exit systems). But no, that would leave no scope for catching people out and inflicting them with unlawful penatlies.
Maybe in the the hospital trust's review, as well as forcing PE to repay the illgal penalties they have raked in, and, of course, sacking PE, they should also sack the Trust employee who signed up to this ridiculous system. But, no, that won't happen. What, the public sector firing a senior employee. Oh, no, I'm sure they'll get a promotion. An FoI request to get the paper trail of the process they used to award the parking contract could make for interesting reading.0 -
Easy way is to have a system similar to airports where the number-plate is printed on the ticket, so when you enter it into the machine to pay it knows how much to charge you.
Or even easier way is to scrap parking charges completely, and have a couple gentlemen patrolling the site to make sure vehicles are not being parked in areas where they are not meant to.0 -
Another update from Burton mail.

They even have a response from PE on it!0 -
And PE say they 'encourage people to appeal if there are mitigating circumstances'. I am sure they do...so they can send a rejection letter and then sit back and laugh as the poor elderly/ill/vulnerable person then loses at POPLA by sending a rubbish appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
