  • I had a cheap pound tree that was black and pretty useless or so I thought, instead of throwing it away or donating I upcycled it into a gorgeous Christmas wreath. The cheapest very poor quality wreaths I have seen were around 3 pound. What I came up with was a Black, silver, white and iridescent wreath with left over bells, stars, bows ribbon and anything else you can find. The tree comes apart quite easily and then you can wrap the branches around a cardboard doughnut shape( this does mean it can't go outside) but if you have something plastic you can use that instead. This year the wreath cost nothing as I bought nothing extra. I would estimate the total cost to be around 2 pound if purchasing everything new.The tree was only 2ft so this violet tree that has been mentioned would make at least two. The possibilities are countless for the uses of these cheap trees. Think I'm off to get a violet coloured tree.!!!
