The report is basically about 4 decades of birth. In round figures, the 1940's (Me) and 1950's - who are the 'boomers', and then the 1960's and the 1970's - who are the Generation X 'whimps' like rugged who continually whinge about boomers.

Right! That's it boys. 'Nuffs enough.

I was born in the early 1960s.

First I got it in the neck from rugged for being a greedy boomer.

Now I'm getting it in the neck from you for being a wimp.

    Unfair!
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

As far as I can make out, then, you must be a rich privileged subsided person who simply splashes every penny (and more) into IPads, Iphones, Xboxes, flashy cars and yet still frequents Wonga twice a month to pay for your Bingo losses.

You could, if you wish, "come out" and be like me. I'm 100% a boomer but like to think I have a bit of Gen X in me. That's why I whinge a lot. But only about whingers.

Talk about it? I think he took out his crayons and drew it!

Looking forward to the report on Generation Y, of which (I believe) our Graham belongs. "Incomes have shrunk to boomer levels. Spending up to Gen X levels. Inheritance Nil. No worries, free rice-aid from China and India."
