Well here goes then, I can see an irate phone call to Next over the next couple of days. I have spent over a £1000 in the last 3 months with Next (albeit on clearance items) not to mention the amount I've spent over the year & I can guarantee I will not get a slot as I never ever have. I believe one of the criteria is ordering from the current Directory but it should not matter where you order from, surely it's the sheer amount of money you spend but it appears not. I believe another factor is a high returns rate (which I am guilty of) but again that should not matter. I've spent an absolutely fortune with them this year so I'm ready for this one! Incidently my friend orders very little & does not have a copy of the Directory & gets a slot almost every single time! The so-called criteria is utter rubbish, it does not consistently apply! :mad:0

High return rate means you are unlikely to get a slot as they will presume a lot of it will be returned.If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550

I appreciate what you are saying Storck but most people return online sale items to Next whether they've been bought in the VIP sale or not. It just annoys me that if I ordered a couple of small value items a month out of the current Directory & never returned anything I'd be valued as more of a customer than spending hundreds of pounds each month - there is absolutely no logic, hence why I'm so annoyed.

In their eyes it is not about money spent but profit made. If you mainly buy clearance items the profit margin is low to start with and then a high return ratio which means wasted postage again reducing the profit they have made from you.If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550
