Transformers pencil Case and pen set - what age is it suitable for??

Options
Need your input please.

In my stash in the pressies box i have found an absolutely gorgeous Transformers pencil case with three compartments, a trigonometry set in the first compartment, 24 beautiful felt pens in the 2nd, and pencil crayons (again, at least 24 of them) They are branded and very lovely quality. They had previously been wrapped up for a pressie for someone else, and tbh i thought they were a cheap and cheerful spiderman set that i could gift to a four year old, but now ive opened them i am gobsmacked at how lovely they are and think they would make a lovely ad hoc gift to an older boy, but this lad is around 8-9 years old, is Transformers too young for him??? Tis a gorgeous well made set

Oh the trials of gifting!!

Help please!!!!!!!

Yeah, thanks Bennifred, the set is appropriate, and probably more so, to the older lad with the trig bits in, but i dont want to ruin his street cred if Transformers are akin to Postman Pat et al, if you know what i mean... :)..and thats my conundrum...

  • If it is any help the transformers books are aimed at 9+ so it shouldn't be too young. If it is he can always use the contents I guess?
