Hello!
I had no idea where to post this so please move and accept my apologies if I have put it in the wrong section.
Would any of you smart people know if Bad Santa and Elf are being shown on TV this year? I have looked everywhere and can't find them apart from Sky Movies and we don't and definitely won't have the movies package
Don't really want to rent it on DVD or subscribe to a Netflix thing.
Any help would wonderful. I know Bad Santa is maybe not to everyone's taste but it gives me a good laugh

I haven't seen it advertised anywhere , but perhaps someone will come along and let you know.
I know you don't want to subscribe. But I've bought DS a now TV box on offer at mr Ts for £25 and you get sky movies free for 3 months without subscription.Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
I'm sure that I saw Elf in the trailer for Film4 holiday films.
edit:
my mistake, it was a Sky1 trailer I saw0 -
I have searched everyday since the 1st of dec for Elf, Miracle on 34th street and santa clause the movie and none of them appeared on normal tv
I doubt all 3 will be on, on Christmas day I am so disappointed0 -
I was wondering the same thing myself about Elf as it is probably my favorite Christmas film. I found an article in the end stating that the rights had been purchased by SKY this year and this is why it will not be shown on C4 like it has been for the last many many christmas's
Ended up ordering it on DVD the other day for around the £3 mark
Not sure about Bad Santa but this used to be on c5 or 5* as far as I remember.0 -

So Elf is only on sky? Disappointing as its normally on channel 4 every year0
-
only on sky and I read that they bought the rights to a lot of the Christmas movies as they have their sky Christmas movie channels.
As I have noticed the movies that are not on the Christmas channel are on the normal channels
However, if you want to buy them on dvd Asda had them all for £3 each so I just bought the 2 films I wanted so I am not disappointed again0 -
It's not Christmas without Elf!!0
