£1300 debt. 433 credit score. Best way to clear.

Ok when I was a bit younger I was a bit silly with with paying bills and a credit card. Ive decided now im qualified as an electrician to get my bills on track. I have defaults on 5 accounts, 3 are open and 2 are closed. I have a total sum to pay of £1300.

What would you say would be the best way to start clearing these debts? I cant afford to pay this outright, but maybe £100 a month would be ok.

Regards

  • pay the min payment on all except the one with the highest APR,when thats paid off repeat until all paid off, after youve paid them all off put the £100 a month into a credit union account where if you need to you can borrow more cheaply,at the same time get a credit repair card use it and pay it off 100% each month
  • Thanks for the reply. Sounds like a good plan.
I've just signed up for another credit report agency which has a few extra lenders on there now taking my total upto 2k. Will this be the case for more credit report agencies.

  • cra arent what matter to be honest and i certainly wouldnt pay for one, just pay off your debt then concentrate on rebuilding your credit profile by making payments on time etc
