Debt confusion!!

Hello,
I got myself into debt a few years ago and buried my head in the sand about it all. I recently tried to start to repay it all off - but it's impossible! I have no idea how to pay it off, which sounds ridiculous I know. I know which companies the debt is with but cannot seem the trace anything
does anyone have any advice on where I can get some clarification??
Thanks in advance!

Hi Wales23.
Noddle is a free credit check website that is worth a look:

If you want to see what options are available to you to repay the money you owe, StepChange's Debt Remedy tool is a good place to start:
http://www.stepchange.org/Debtremedy.aspx
It may be worth completing the Debt Remedy, or even ringing 0800 138 1111 which is StepChange's helpline. They can talk things through with you and book a debt advice session to discuss your income and expenditure, as well as your secured/unsecured debts.
A debt management plan may be your best option, which is also the most informal out of your options; a 'gentleman's agreement' as such between yourself and your creditors.
Good luck with whatever choice you make."No sacrifice, no victory"
