Declined mortgage

Hi
I was talking to Barclays about a 95% mortgage with parent putting 10% into a linked savings account. All going well until they did a "soft" search and found that I was late (week or so) twice this year paying my mobile phone bill. Stupid I know, but there I am.
Question is, how long will it take for those late payments to disappear so I can reapply/They told me the soft search doesn't leave the normal footprint
Any adice gratefully received.

6 years for them to disappear.
