SMP Query

Hi, hopefully this is the right place to post this!
I was employed as a temporary worker for an agency who supplied accountancy workers for their clients. I had a full time post via them which I left last year when I went on maternity leave. After notifying the agency that I was ready to return to work from maternity but only part time they were unable to find me a temporary post so although I am still "on their books" so technically employed by them, I havent done any work for them in recent months.
I am now expecting baby number two (I know, fast work :-/) and I wondered if I was entitled to an SMP1 form from the agency so I can claim SMP from the government?
Hope someone can help because the agency have been utterly useless and never respond to me.
Thanks in advance
