Make sure you check your receipts properly. I've just bought some ladies trousers from the Altrincham store, they were clearly marked down to £6, however, one pair scanned at £10 and the other at the original price of £20.Sex and Drugs and Sausage Rolls.0

I completely agree. I shake my head in despair and sometimes disgust at some of the posts on this site.Sex and Drugs and Sausage Rolls.0

Lots of kids stuff half price in Keighley branch this morning. Got a lovely party dress for 5 year old DGD (£9 from £18) and a cute pink Minnie Mouse puffa coat for 3 year old DGD (£10 from £20)."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. I went into the biggest Sainsbury near me today (London Colney). They had racks of half price clothing, but by far the biggest bargains are the Gok Wan items.
Picked up a fantastic Gok Wan little black dress in time for Christmas and the style is pretty classic so will last: £40 down to £20. It is very highly engineered though, so trying it on was, um, interesting and involved help from a lovely shop assistant. It's this one:

Mine's black, I didn't see any in purple. They did have the lovely purple sleeveless "wrap" look tops, but sadly not in my size. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? What, buying clothes in order to bring the spend up to £30? How is that fraud? I get extra value and a new outfit at a sale price to boot; Sainsburys gets at least £30 through the till. Everyone's a winner.TheDancingBanana wrote: »I completely agree. I shake my head in despair and sometimes disgust at some of the posts on this site.
A note of warning about Gok clothes, esp the ones that are supposed to offer body support - but at least 2 sizes bigger. I bought a size 12 and I swear it was a size 8 in normal currency.vivatifosi wrote: »I went into the biggest Sainsbury near me today (London Colney). Yes because I'd much rather line the pockets of the top dogs at Sainsbury's HQ so they can stick it in some off-shore account and get even richer.
I despair at the stupidity of some of the posters on here. How on earth is spending money on clothes in Sainsbury's and using coupons in the process of doing so fraud?0

I bought true to size and it fits beautifully, but doing the back zip up was very hard. Once I was zipped in I could move around in it fine, it was the getting it done up that's hard. Not break the zip hard to do up, that was easy or I'd have gone up one size, more that you can't reach the zip.
I wish I'd got a skirt now. Actually I looked back at my post and can now see how it could have been misconstrued. I originally intended to comment that my local store got rid of their changing room when it expanded, which made way for a greater range of clothes. There's now always a rack of reductions and seems to be an additional 25% off promotion every month. Sainsbos clothes are good value and last me for years.Yes because I'd much rather line the pockets of the top dogs at Sainsbury's HQ so they can stick it in some off-shore account and get even richer.

But I am really glad they let me return the Gok dress a few weeks ago, I couldn't actually breathe in it! Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze! Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
