Hi,
now that I have been discharged from my Bankruptcy can I leave the coop bank and move to another Bank?
I know while Bankrupt it was either Barclays or the coop that I was able to go to so does this still apply?
Cheers

Hello there.
Now that you are discharged you can apply to any bank you like. As your credit score is likely to be low you may find that you can open a basic account.
Best wishes,

While the br shows on your file you will struggle to get anything other than a basic account.
I have stayed with the coop as it does everything I need.
good luck for the future x0 -

I have been with the coop bank just over a year and the only issues I have and reason for moving is that the online banking is slow to update and in N.Ireland I have only come across one bank which is in Belfast.0 -

to the OP...I think you will find Co-op's internet banking service has recently undergone a drastic upgrade.
[See my earlier thread on the matter?}
The internet service [and phone banking] now show current cleared funds, as well as present balance [which is a different thing].No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0
