Sorry Mods, wasn't sure where to post.
I've organised a bbq for tomorrow and someone is veggie. I don't want to cook their food with the meat - I can use half of the grill plate for meat and half for veg but would prefer a better solution if anyone can advise.
Also, what kinds of food should I do? (Don't want to spend a fortune)

Pick up these almost anywhere, depends what shopping facilities yo have, ASDA, TESCO, POUNDLAND, MORRISONS should all have them around now. Flavoured rice is also a good filler for veggie guests:T:jDabbler in all things moneysaving.Master of none:o

You can buy things to sit inside the bbq, my mum has a frying pan type thing designed for fish really and my brother has a tray but I dont see why you cant put on an old baking tray, something not non stick would be better I think.
Love cooking veggie stuff on the bbq especially kebabs!0 -

Quorn bangers are half price at Tesco at the moment. Sweet potato wedges are nice - par boil them first and then grill, also the mini corn on the cob, (defrosted and served with butter or lime juice and salt) Also you can stuff big mushrooms with a garlic stuffing (breadcrumbs, oil, garlic and the stalks whizzed together). Wrap in foil parcels and BBQ for about 10 mins. Don't forget to have a separate serving platter for the veggies - dh doesn't always remember!!!!!“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”
