What matters is the detail on your credit report not the score.0

Thanks, any more info?0 -
Obtain all three versions of your £2 paper statutory credit file (stop any subscriptions or payments for pointless "scores") and put them in front of a whole market broker.
Equifax

Experian

They'll do a factfind and look at your credit history and establish any problems and which lenders to consider and which to discard.
You get all three because the information on each is different and lenders take information from one or two, hardly ever all three and this may help with the placement.I am a mortgage broker. Do you have your credit reports? Do you have any defaults or missed payments?0

How much are they for and to whom??
TBH, they are going to have an impact on any mortgage application especially the 3 year one.0 -

Was the credit card in your name?
Yes it was, this might sound daft but it was fraudulently used by an ex-wife which is why it got in to such a mess. She had actually managed to get me a CCJ as well but I could prove it was all her doing and managed to get it removed two years ago.
She had all my post diverted.
