Mulled spice instant coffee

I was treated to a jar of mulled spice instant coffee the other day (we bought 2 other flavours for Christmas presents and got a 3rd one free, it's also not a flavour I would have picked) now not sure if because I don't take sugar in my coffee it tastes so awful but I can't drink any more of it. No one else would drink it in the house either!

Any ideas of how I could use it up I don't want to waste it, I did think of a coffee mulled spice cake with some sultanas or raisins but not sure if it would work.

Can anyone help?

Sounds interesting, happycrafter.

Try making a strong cup of the coffee (black) and then use the liquid to 'pre-soak' some dried fruit - leave overnight if possible - then make your cake as usual.

Do it the same way as if you were using Tea to soak the fruit.

Nothing to lose - just give it a go .
