Now this depends upon how big the bay is. But we were going to buy a curved blind for the Bay window but was advised against it by the Blind Company that I always use. One because of the cost and two more importantly they advised as you are in effect pulling a blind round a corner they ware quiet easily over time and can begin squeaking and rubbing. Plus they don't hang that well assuming your going for vertical blinds.

In the end we went for two single blinds which buff up together and give a slight overlap, so end up like curtains opening outward from the centres.

my bay window doesnt actually have any corners, i.e. it is not in 3 sections, it is like a semi circle and has five sections. i think your suggestion of having two blinds opening like curtains seems a good idea.
can u provide name of co. u used and your experience with them and cost etc. although i know this will vary on size of window and style of blind.
    thanks

Ours is a four window bay and has two 4 ft blinds so fits nicely see what you mean by having five windows. Our blinds meet up on the joined between two of the windows.

Anyway I have always used Newton Le Willows Blinds which are a local firm to me.

They were £100 back in February 2004 for the two. But were part of a larger order of five blinds in total.

I got quoted over 2K for roman blinds for my 6 windowed bay. I went off the idea...

  • All I can say is stay clear of Hillarys blinds. I can't find anyone to say a good word about them.

They really messed me about, and it is only after talking to others you find they have had a similar experience
