Cheapest way to join Weight Watchers?

I want to try and kickstart my weight loss and have decided to join weight watchers. I've never done it before and am a little daunted by all the info and different joining options on their website. Ideally I'd like to go to one class just to have the plan explained to me, then continue doing it at home maybe with online support. Can anyone give me any advice what the cheapest way to join would be? Thanks.

Don't, unless you really do need the support would be my advice. I lost 62lbs in less than a year by choosing my own way. What I will say is that you need to find a food regime that you can follow for the rest of your life, and not just a diet that will mean once you have lost weight you go back to eating the way that put the weight on.

There are sites on the internet that are used by people wanting to lose weight and you can get quite a bit of support there.

I gave up wheat, rye, barley & oats and made sure I cut right down on processed foods. No French stick meant that I eat less cheese. No toast means I now don't eat marmalade, jams etc.

I also decided to include treats in my plan so I have 25gms dark chocolate every day and drink wine three days a week. I also cut down on fruit (sugar) while I was losing weight and counted calories until I got the hang of what suited me and how much of it I could consume and still reach my goals.

If you do want support, PM me and we can go into more detail of how I lost weight and have kept it off for a year to date.

You find with weightwatchers that they drip feed you information. So to get all the printed information they offer you have to go to at least 4 sessions. Thats how it used to be anyway.

Also, when I did it, it worked out a little money saving to sign up for the online package for a month rather than pay each week.

    Good luck!
  • I used the onile service. go through www.topcashback.co.uk to get substantial savings, albeit you usually have to wait a couple of months to do it! :)
