  • Hmm I think ours is a little bigger than that. OH put it up so I'll find out :) Usually it'll tell you on the box how much door frame it needs.

My recommendation would be a TRX system and a few kettlebells of various sizes (e.g. 12kg 16kg 20kg 24kg) which you won't find in the likes of Argos :D

These coupled with your ViPR will give you an excellent range of workouts. Plenty of videos on youtube to learn various techniques and exercises.

Don't think you can go far wrong with kettle bells for total body workout. Can pick them up very cheap in Argos for example, and if you want inspiration for workouts there are plenty on YouTube as well as DVD's.
You can have a complete home gym for under £50 and every muscle can be toned and worked.
    Hope that helps :)

I agree, kettlebells. I got some of mine from amazon, the heavier ones I got on ebay, if you shop around you can get 8, 10 and 12 kettles in a set of 3 for about 32.99 on ebay with free delivery and nectar points as well if you have a nectar card.

You should get them easily on ebay at that weight, all I would say is shop around, the prices can vary quite a lot and some sellers charge for delivery and others dont.

We buy ours from Powerhouse as we buy in bulk.

I also do a HIIT class in the gym that involves a step, you can do HIIT type workouts using a step and weights as well as ones that use your own bodyweight.

I got a 4,6 and an 8 from ebay for 27.99 with free delivery, was happy enough with that. I just need enough for people who do my classes and my hall isnt huge so the most I have at a time doing the class is 10 people.

But when I was looking I saw a lot of different prices, such as £20 for a 5kg kettlebell, not just on ebay but on play.com and other sites as well.

The powerhouse prices look reasonable enough.

We often have upwards of 20 people attending bootcamps so need to hold a fair bit of equipment. Then there's the stuff we use personally and for PT sessions, which includes a full range of olympic weights, kettlebells and other gym equipment (bosu, balls, ViPR etc).

This is just a small corner of one of the sheds where we store some of the bootcamp stuff. We also have a full set of pads and gloves to run boxercise classes and various resistance stuff. It seems to be never ending :rotfl:
