Just a quick note: Unions are not 'free' just in case that was implied (? ) however the advice & support they do provide in the event you need them, particularly for complicated or serious issues is invaluable.

I paid around £13 pcm for my union when working in the public transport sector, for 15 years.
It was easily the best 'insurance policy' I ever bought.
Unless specifically stated all posts by me are my own considered opinion.
If you don't like my opinion feel free to respond with your own.
  • I wouldn't have thought of it before but thanks to you guys repeatedly praising the work from unions etc I thought I would give my husband union "Unite" a call.
I explained it was my husbands policy but that I was just chancing some assistance and they were brill, gave me all the advice I need to compose a letter ;-)
Thank you so much for all of your wise advice, very much appreciated :-D
