fm transmitter for the car

Hi guys,
I recently bought a car and it only has a radio and a cd player. My old car had an aux-in which meant I could listen to my ipod, shuffle, or any device with an aux-out.
Does anyone know of an fm transmitter which can work with any device which has an aux-out? I recently bought a belkin fm trasnmitter for my ipod but it was rubbish (cumbersome and bad sound quality - and also limited me to just being able to listen to my ipod).
Thanks

I have one of these:

Which is simple and plugs into any device with a 3.5mm headphone socket.
Its battery life is appalling though, so I use it on a cable from a USB adaptor in the lighter socket.
You also get a slightly better one on Amazon, which did me a full week's commuting between charges but that walked when my car was broken into.0 -
FM transmitters aren't generally that great. Have you checked the back of the Radio unit to see if there are any additional inputs?
Also, some car radios have the capability to play MP3 CDs - not quite as good as hooking up the iPod, but will give you about 12 albums per physical CD.0 -
Hi
This may be to late - but I purchased a kit to add Idevice connection . To fit it you take out the radio, plug in the adapter into the wiring loom connection that goes into the radio and find a space to mount the unit and put the wires for the connection in you glove compartment. It's a little fiddly to fit and required a bit of drilling in the glove compartment to make a hole for the cables. But it works really well and allows control from the on steering wheel controls and charges the ipod.
I did look at changing the radio but it's not a standard unit.
It's not cheap at about £80 but it does do a really good job.
