Trying to find transport that fits our theme

We're getting married next August and the day is going to be very relaxed, a bit of a hippy/festival vibe with live music and a hog roast, not really a wedding at all!
I'm staying at my parents' house the night before with my three bridesmaids and need some way to get everyone to the venue which is about an hour away. There will be me and my maids, my parents and my brother and his girlfriend. I really want a VW camper (because our families both had them when we were children) but you can only fit 5 people in and that looks to be a bit of a squeeze. I'm trying not to resort to a minibus from the local taxi company but I'm struggling to find any nice, big vehicles that aren't limos.
Can anyone think of anything that would fit us all comfortably but has a retro vibe? Our budget is so tight we can't really afford more than one vehicle and I would feel awful if I had to ask my mum to drive herself and my brother and his OH but I fear it might come to it!

Just thinking a little further down the line - how do you/everyone else intend getting back from the venue ....are you staying there the night?
What I'm saying is that if its an hour away and you're planning on staying there the night (not sure from your post) then your mum/brother/his girlfriend may be better off getting there under their own steam as then they (and your dad!) have a way of getting back home.

We are all staying either at or near the venue. The bridesmaids are sorting their own accommodation the night after. It's just to get there.Getting married 02.08.14

Would a double decker bus be too big?? Are you rural? Farmers have been known to trasport people on tractor trailers...Debt-free...and staying that way...0

You could see if something like this is available in your area: http://www.aristoclassics.com/IMG_1754.JPG0

yes but how will they (eventually!) get home?
By that I mean if your mum, brother and girlfriend come with you in the bridal transport how will they plan on getting home?

A lot of the wedding camper vans do sit more than 5, although 7 is possibly the most I saw (it's a few months ago now, can't really remember!) but it's worth having a look around. What area are you in?0

What about a vintage bus? It doesnt have to be a routemaster! There are plenty of vintage single deck buses, which I know will seat more than you need but may fit in with your theme.
Where are you based / what area are you getting married?0
