Where can I get a nice lattice pork pie?

We always bought a large lattice pork pie for snacking on over Christmas. But where have they all gone? Both M & S and Sainsbury's did a nice one but, over the last couple of years, they seem to have stopped selling them. Has anyone seen them anywhere and, more importantly, can they recommend them?

i bought a pork pie from Waitrose and this got good reviews from OH and DS. I think it had a lattice type of top on it

I will be getting one of these this year and also some of their pie slices off the deli

Sainsburys do lattice pork pie but we have never had it

Aldi do a Gormans game pie on sale on the 19th that everyone loved last year, but dont know if that would be your thing, it isnt a lattice but the pastry wasnt very thick last year

when you say large. How large?

eg 1lb /440g size or 3lb 1.3kg size?

Walkers make a 140g open lattice pie that is sold in quite a few retailers, think I have seen it JS deli counter. I have not looked recently but I bought one in the summer time which was very nice.

M&S sell a lattice rectangular shaped pie.

It looks as though I am going to have to go to a larger M & S or Sainsbury's than ours to find one. The M & S lattice one sounds ideal! Definitely none in our branch. Unfortunately it's quite a way to my nearest Waitrose.

i would wait a day or two as they will all have there christmas ranges out. so there will be lots of choice.
