I.ve paid my mortgage off!

After 25 years I am paid. Basically moved here 3/12/88. Had 2 endowments totalling 24k. 2nd one matured 1/12. Paid 6k off in Summer and needed to pay another £430 to clear balance. Dread to think of shortfall on a bigger amount if £6.430.91 short on 24k.
