Just wondering if anyone else uses the website "Microworkers" as a way to make some extra cash? I couldn't find a thread on it!
You complete tasks and earn money in the process, simple things like clicking on ads, commenting on youtube videos.etc.
You have to make at least $9 to request payout and they pay you in paypal, usually within 1 day of requesting payout!
It can be a little boring but if you do other things at the same time, it can be quite easy.
Give it a go guys:money:

Sounds like crowdsourcing tasks that appear on get paid to sites such as Clixsense.
I would be intrigued to know more and happy to use a referral link or whatever if it is worthwhile for someoneThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I've had no problems at all with microworkers and with regards to the pin, you only need it when you request your first payout and I personally received it promptly to my home addressSave £12K in 2020 #58 - £454.58/£5,0000

Hi i'm reviving this thread. I've been with Microworkers for many months and I received many payments from them, they legit and they do payout however the only hassle with them is the long wait for the PIN as they do send it to your actual address and it could be easily mistaken to a Junk mail, I also think that the mail comes from Slovenia and it takes about 3 to 4 weeks to arrive.
My advice for Microworkers is to create Junk Facebook/Twitter/Google+ and email accounts, you don't want to spam your friends with weird offers, also don't miss out Click and search work because it easy and it takes less than 2 min mainly its find this page click on Inner of the page and copy and save the link and they usually pay 20 cent each not bad as they are many. My second tip is to do easy Facebook and twitter offers some of the Employers ask you to share an article or comment on Youtube, also don't bother with Sign ups most of them waste of time as they don't pay out that much.
I hope I helped out and this thread stays active as i'm earning arround 80-90 dollars a month from them just by doing easy tasks.0 -
I've tried Microworkers before. Also tried it again recently. I can't get into the flow of it.
I'm almost at minimum payout (my first payment). Apparently it takes a while to get your first payment as there's a particular lengthy verification process.
I'll aim for the first payment and see how things go, then decide if I'll continue there or not.
I AM BRAVE. I JUST DON'T KNOW IT....YET.0 -
I've been doing Microworkers for a few months now, all has gone smoothly. I have been getting about $10/week, though it has slowed down a bit since the new year.
Things I like about it:
1) Payments are relatively high for many jobs for the amount of work involved.
2) Although task authors can reject your work if it doesn't meet their expectations, this rarely happens in practice - most of the time the task is clear and so long as you read the instructions and follow them there is no problem. To put it in perspective, I've done over 1000 tasks with 14 rejected - some of which I disagree with, others I had made a mistake.
3) Rejections by authors don't last forever - in effect they drop off out of your stats after 60 days, so as long as you generally do good work, it isn't an issue.
4) There are no silly bonuses, incentives to do it every day etc, so you just do it when you feel like it and when there are decent tasks.
5) Payments are done quickly and there is no set time.
6. There are some easy tasks which come up regularly so you can earn a reasonable amount without having to think too hard!
Things I don't like
1) Some of the tasks are far too long and complicated for the amount of money on offer - though it is easy simply to reject these!
2) Some tasks simply don't work properly or are a bit dodgy e.g. asking for your youtube account or to like/vote for things on facebook and in competitions (my conscience doesn't allow me to do some of these!)
3) When it comes to payout time, the site takes a sizeable chunk of your money, 7.5% for Paypal, which is annoying. I'd actually rather they reduced the stated payment for tasks by the same amount so you could easily see what you were getting.
4) Although you can dispute authors rejecting your work, I have never had a response to messages either way. So the owners are uncommunicative. Nor is there a forum or any other way of chatting with other workers unlike on Clixsense for example.
5) Having to ask for a PIN in the post is a little irritating, but this is only once ever and wasn't an especial bother.
All in all, I would say that if you do the Crowdflower tasks then these are worth doing as well - on the whole I would say they are easier and better paid, though not as numerous.
I don't think there is a referral system, you just sign up.0 -
@ElefantEd For Youtube, Facebook, Twitter tasks just use a spare one that you don't use, sometimes they are offers that only requires to watch a video and put a like or comment and they pay out 30 cents sometimes more.0

Yes, I use spare facebook, twitter and youtube account for those tasks. But some tasks are asking for votes/likes about things which I wouldn't be happy with supporting. And a few tasks have asked the tasker to hand over the login details of accounts, which is a definite no-no.0

I'm a Microworker too. Got no complaints at all. The PIN took around 14 days to arrive, from Slovenia, and I was paid within 24 hours of submitting it. I can't do all of the jobs on offer, but there are plenty of quick and simple tasks on offer. I'd recommend it to anyone.0
