Not too convinced on these true value as its got to be cheaper to make these without having to supply a remote control as your using your phone instead.
Yet with delivery it costs £22.
You can get the similiar, very well rated, easy to fly Syma 2nd Edition S107G, with a remote control for £15.83 delivered on Amazon.
It doesn't add up to me that less seems more.. :huh:European for 3 weeks in August, the rest of the year only British and proud.0 -
Syma are a better known make as well, so easier to get spare parts for, I would think. A quick Google shows that the spares are not too expensive either - and even experienced fliers can crash and damage their 'copters sometimes.
My son flies remote controlled helicopters as a serious hobby - his largest is 1.2m long, and as a member of a flying club he has to have insurance and follow very specific safety rules. He is considering buying the Syma as a 'mess around' copter for flying inside the house - normally he is restricted to the flying field or the local community centre when the club flies indoors in winter.0 -

I don't know a lot about them but do know from ones I have had before that crashing comes into it quite often, so I was pleased to find that I could get a complete spares kit (16 piece) for the Syma on ebay for £3.99 delivered. Includes blades, drive shafts, fins and even a cockpit. I have ordered one to go with the helicopter I bought as it would be a damp squid on Christmas day if the first crash is unlucky enough to break something critical!European for 3 weeks in August, the rest of the year only British and proud.0 -
I've picked one of these up as my tech son will love flying it from his ipad or iphone.
Many thanks for posting this link.
Happy Christmas0
