Car loan, what can I do?

A lot of people don't bother shopping around and just grab the first quote. Also never get a quote from a comparison website, always PHONE directly with the insurance company.
NEVER take your renewal quote. I always get £200-£300 knocked off the price of my renewal if I actually phone up the company.0 -

You won't think you're old when you're 67. My mother is 92 and still going strong. And we're the pampered generation, don't forget.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -
You ever read Logan's run?Clive_Woody wrote: »I had noticed :beer:0 -

If I got that knocked of my renewal they would be giving me money.
I have stayed with the same insurance for years because when the renewal comes through I can never find a cheaper quote from any other insurance company.0 -
Pretty much the same here, I could save a couple of quid going with Bert's Backstreet Insurance Co but it is not worth the risk. The ones that give cash back through Quidco etc take a lot more than they give and the ones that "are not on comparison sites" obviously don't like being seen at the bottom of lists. If I got that knocked of my renewal they would be giving me money.

No, but just had a look at the synopsis and this isn't what I was suggesting for MSE. I value the opinion of the older generation on here (so long as we have no mention of rationing...).

AFAIR The book itself puts the age limit at 21 (I think) not 30 as in the film :eek:0
