Tax on final salary payment

Hi all
Hoping there's someone here who can help me. I'll shortly be leaving my current job and I will be paid my final salary at the end of January. I know the gross amount, however my employer states that they cannot calculate the net amount I will be paid in January until after the December salary is paid - I assume this is because the payroll software works it out.
Can the calculation be made manually based on tax I have already paid this year and the gross amount as I am trying to do some budgeting for into next year and it would be useful to know what the net payment will be in January?

Unless you have accrued holiday to be paid over too wouldn't it pretty much be exactly the same as your net pay in November?
Do you have variable pay amounts eg commission?0 -
For January, I have 4 days salary to be paid plus 5.55 days holiday and an additional payment for undertaking on call duties.
As I say, I have all three gross amounts, it's just the net amount they say they can't provide.0 -
they probably need payroll to do it.
but you can do it yourself with the HMRC calculator if you know gross for Dec and Jan. and have a payslip for Nov.

NI is a different calculation as some is 0% some is 12% and if you get enough in one month the rest is 2%
