5 boxes of Homeware prize with no note?!? Help!

How exciting to have five large boxes delivered as I arrived home at lunchtime. Each one contained a really unusual piece of art/ceramic/pottery type thingy, but there is no indication of where it is from (I have checked all the boxes).

I even typed in the tracking number and they came from Bristol and one item has 'West UK' written on the side, but no amount of searching brings up anything else.

To give you as much detail as possible - I have two green upside down arch-shaped ornaments (one might be a vase as it has a whole at one end); one large African style vase (bowl-shaped at the bottom with a funnel top); one large dark red plate with a Chinese picture on it and a hook at the back and one gold box with lots of boxes inside (looks like they stack on top of each other).

Has anybody any idea? I have checked my 'thanks' but can't find anything in the mountain I enter.

Just wondering if this rings a bell with anyone? I have done endless searches to no avail and, as the plasicky ornaments are really not my cup of tea I want to donate them to the local charity shop, but am a bit scared to in case they are some strange designer thing worth lots of money.

Any ideas? I will try and attach a photo.

Well done, it's annoying when they don't even put a comp slip or note in. Could it be from Your Homes mag comps, they have lots of homewear prizes, but does not ring a bell with me. Hope you find out where its all from.
  • I'm not sure but it sounds a lot like the kind of thing Achica stocks and I think there was a comp for them a while ago, you could take a pic of one of vases and upload on google image search and see if it brings a match. Sorry not more help http://www.achica.com/product.aspx?productid=1360156
Starting afresh - comping as much as poss!

Hoping for: some beauty goods, clothes, amazon vouchers, anime, manga, wardrobe, fridge freezer, laptop, an ipad, vouchers for next, exercise goods, a uk break and a wee hol somewhere nice!
    Wishing all a little luck:beer:

Thank you Februarycat and kzmicallef. I have tried to put a photo on here but not sure how to. Have checked Achica and Your Home/At Home comps, but can't find anything there. Have now ploughed through all the comps I have 'ticked' for the last two weeks (mounting to about 1400!!), but still nothing. I can't search further back than 12 pages, though. There's something called 'Now4SomethingDifferent' on Real People Magazine, but no idea what that is (have tried Googling).

It's so frustrating. If anyone can solve this mystery I will be forever grateful.

I've a vague recollection of an image with some upside down shaped thing- it wasn't clear what they actually were for, so I didn't enter.

Think it was in the last two months, but couldn't tell you who it was for, sorry.

Thank you, Zanzib, that sounds like it. Does that sound familiar to anyone else? I could post a pic but not sure how.

well done on your random win! I love unexpected deliveries :-) Just a thought, have you tried googling your name? You might appear on a winners list online..
I smile because I have absolutely no idea what's going on

Thanks, Livewire. I was super excited when postie arrived and was jumping in the air. When I first opened the vase it was upside down and I thought I'd won a toadstool!!

Yes, tried the name search plus image searches, various words for 'ornaments', loads of searches on here. I feel like I'm becoming a little obsessed.
