Hi im new to the site. I joined after struggling with money for years and finding it extremely difficult to get out of a big hole iv got myself into. I am unable to find work at the moment due to medical reasons so I really want to find some opportunities to do from home. I have joined many of the survey sites mentioned but as stated you can wait some time to see rewards plus im a bit wary as reviews are mixed for many site so I was hoping some people on here could give advice on good survey sites and would also appreciate any input on other good ways to earn money online and companies that are looking for people to work from home. If you earn a good income working from home and dont mind sharing please let me know.
many thanks for any help youse can offer

  • There are several long threads on working from home - look for threads on Appen Butler Hill, Lionbridge and Leapforce.
  • I have worked for Lionbridge and Appen Butler Hill. I wouldnt say I earn a "good" income, but more than minimum wage. I would look into these. They only offer part time work though. There are also a few virtual call centre jobs which do offer full time hours. Depends what you are looking for really.

i will look into them thanks. what is it you do with them. Im not expecting to rake in loads of money just hoping to earn a little something to help pay bills and keep me going for a while until i can properly work. Iv looked into cm work but they are really hard to get, iv tried dropshipping which didnt turn out too well for me. im not sure whats out there with regards to working from home but aslong as it isnt too difficult as i wouldnt say im a clever person then id be happy to do most things.

I cant really say what the jobs are as I have signed NDAs but check out these boards for help with applying to the companies mentioned. They are all jobs you can do online from home with genuine companies.

The jobs arent "easy", but no job is these days and you need to make sure your applications are spot on as regards to spelling etc, as with any job.
  • I just started doing survey sites at the end of November. I recommend you register with Opinion Outpost UK, My Survey and swagbucks. You won't get rich but you can make a few extra quid. You can see what i've earned so far in my signature.
    Pay-outs since 28/11/2013:

    OpinionOutpostUK - £245 MySurvey - £68 Swagbucks - £255 Clixsense - $935 Crowdology - £40 PineCone - £48 Panelbase - £30 IPSOS - £30 ValuedOpinions - £30 GTM - £60

There are people working pretty much full time for Leapforce as there are no restrictions on hours like there are with the other two companies. Obviously it's not guaranteed to stay like that but work level has been very good for the last few months.

I am happy where I am at the moment, but that is good to know for the future! Thanks
