ok so I will include the £1000 in the current account towards my target total. The money was originally in my saving but had to cashin one of my savings to pay vets bills and household bills which later dad refunded me back. So too late to put back into my saving account.
November total now stands at £1504.66 so total so far is £4904.66, making Dec a low amount of £95.34 to get to my £5000 target.0 -
Just done my monthly update form. Not as much as I would have liked this month due to paying for holiday over Christmas and gift buying but still I am almost at £17k:j.0

Wow wow wow!
I haven't had much time to check in here this month so have only just seen the news, well done everyone on hitting £1 million!! I just had to explain to my husband why I was sat squealing at the computer screen. This is such an inspiring thread :A
#132 declaring £1835 for November (lots of extra work this month!) Which brings us up to our £21,000 target for the year! Seems amazing that we have saved more than half of our mortgage deposit in one year! It took three years to save the other half (admittedly on lower, and sometimes just one, income and paying for a wedding etc, but still...).
Just one more month to go! Can't wait for the 2015 thread, heading over there now
Ps. Form updated SF. My autofill has mysteriously stopped working though, am pretty sure I put 132 in the box....MFiT-T4 #75: £142,480 to £86,700 by Jan 2019

Hi everyone
Finally after a few lean months I can report some savings! No.1 son's student loan finally sorted out this month, which is a big relief. Although no.2 son has been told his student finance won't come through now until January.... so that leaves a big dent in our budget and we won't achieve our 2014 savings target now. Probably about 2500 short I reckon.
I'm still happy with our total though - another £200 going in for November and we've also put down a deposit on a winter break in the canaries next feb, can't wait!
Just 1 month to go people...happy saving everyone.Save 12k in 2013-2014-2015-2016-2017-2018-2019-2020-2021-2022 - then early-retired.0 -
I'm declaring £2000 for November. My house deposit is at £17.5k. I don't think I'll be saving anything in December because I've just heard that my offer on a little house has been accepted! I'm so excited but also terrified of no longer having much savings to fall back on. I'll be building them back up again and aiming to save £6000 in 2015. I expect the first year to be very expensive. spread sheet updated.Mortgage overpayments 2018: £4602, 2019: £7870
Mortgage overpayments 2020: £4620
Mortgage 2017 £145K, June 2020 £112.6k0 -
