Christmas Party buffet

Hi,
I attended a works Christmas party at the weekend, one of my work mates booked the Christmas party venue which was advertised locally. The cost was £15.00 a person the price was for buffet and DJ. (over 40 of our group attended) I paid for my partner and myself. Sadly the DJ was mediocre and there wasn't enough food at the buffet - 9 of us didn't have a thing to eat as the buffet table was empty as we were the last in the queue.
I complained on the night but was told the manager was unavailable, I have now emailed yet have not received a response. Is there anyway to claim my money back? £30 is a lot to listen to a rubbish DJ.
Thanks
Griddy
