perhaps if you said what was wrong... The log is incomplete. Commit charge, ram total?

Two AV's for a start, three if you include malwarebytes

    ctfmon, tft's, java update, mspy/pharm.

firefox plugins don't show up in hijackthis logs

  • Commit charge is 701m /3912m
  • Messenger can probably go as MS discontinued it in favour of Skype?

  • It's a little slow. Not terrible. But I'd like to see if I can improve the performance.

    How much free disk space?
    What operating system?
What is slow? Web browsing, opening programs, ...
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?
  • Windows XP
80 GB Hard disk with 50 free.
    A little slow in browsing.

I'd like to cut off some of the fat.

Closed said that I had 3 AV's. I know I have Avast and Malwarebytes. What's the other one? Wasn't aware of that.

    You're running Microsoft Security Client.

I cannot find that under 'add/remove programmes'. How do I delete it?
