Angel delight ice cream mixtures

Our granddaughter loves this and we made it regularly for when she came to stay and promised her that she could have Strawberry and Vanilla ones for Christmas day . However, just found out that it is a discontinued line and will not be introduced. I know it was in the shops until recently and tried all the large supermarkets without success and wondered if anyone knows of a retailer who still has stock. Apparently it was not a good selling product. Any help would be appreciated.

I know it's a long shot but have you tired using standard angel delight but whisking it for a good 5 mins or so like you had to with the icecream and then freezing it? I don't think it would come out quite as soft but it should work in terms of flavour I would have thought?
Sorry I can't help with any suggestions on where to get the original ice cream mix by Angel delight. I just wondered if the additional whisking they recommend for the ice cream mix would make a difference to the original angel delight if you froze it?Everyone has a dark side... apparently mine is called Harold?!? :huh:0 -
Not very moneysaving but you can buy them on ebay for inflated prices.:o Depends how much your granddaughter loves them!

Thank you for your replies. Will definitely try the idea using ordinary Angel Delight after Christmas but will buy from the Ebay seller for Christmas. Once again, thank you very much for your help.0

Try Approved Food. I have some packets bought from them online dated Aug 13 which are perfectly edible; which they may still have for sale.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £88.47 app/150 May /150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Thank you for pointing me towards Approved Foods but sadly they did not have any. However I found ClearanceXL when I did the Google search on Approved Foods and they have the Vanilla and Chocolate Ice Cream Mixes in stock. Managed to get 12 packets for just over £5 including P&P. Very happy now.0
