Anyone else get the invite for the new samsung smartthing campaign?

Think I will be giving this one a miss. Bank details needed to be given to cover security of £99 against loss. blimey!

The campaign will last 6 weeks.
On registration we ask you to provide bank details to cover a security of £99 against loss, theft or damage of the Samsung SmartThings Starter kit. Note that no money will and can be taken from your account without your consent. After the campaign, your banking details will be erased.

This is standard practice for Insider campaigns in which you get a chance to try out exclusive and expensive products (in this case Samsung SmartThings devices). Such a security is required to cover possible damage and specialised transportation that may be required in case of damage to the device during the campaign.

At the end of the campaign, you have 2 options:
- You keep the Samsung SmartThings devices and purchase them at a considerable discount from the full retail price.
- You return the devices after the campaign according to the returns procedure below. Please note if the device is not returned in the specified timeframe after the campaign (see return policy below), this £99 security will be charged.

I have deleted it too, what a cheek a multi million pound company too tight to pay for testers!!!!

I didn't receive an email for this trial, but I did go ahead and take part in the LG G4 trial with the insiders where I had to give them my bank details and agree to pay £200 if I lost/damaged the phone. Luckily they ended up letting everyone keep their phone after the trial period and no money was taken. I would certainly feel comfortable doing a similar trial with them in the future..really love the new phone
