Consumer Panel The Insiders (like Bzz etc)

There is a consumer panel that works in a similar way to Bzz and The Orchard called The Insiders.
There is currently a Purina dog food campaign open and I just missed a cat food one.
OK, it is not the busiest consumer panel but in older campaigns they have had Tefal Actifry, Nivea, Listerine and even holiday testers for Club Med!
Once you have signed up you can invite friends and for this you gain an extra 10 points. Points help you access campaigns better.
I have started a thread on the Referrers Board to help peeps have a chance to gain extra points.

Cooking, ironing, taking a shower or bath, washing, turning on the central heating or simply breathing - all these household activities create moisture. A typical family produce on average 12 litres of water a day. Ventilation and insulation are key to keep humidity levels balanced, but too much moisture can have adverse consequences on your property, comfort and even your health.
Recognise the signs of excess moisture:
Wallpaper peeling off, blistering paint, mould and mildew patches etc.
Condensation and lingering bad smells around the house
Damp in your home
The feeling of being cold or having a cold on a regular basis
General allergies and joint problems
Dust mites
Have you noticed any of the signs above in your home? Then you need an easy solution to regulate the moisture and improve the air quality at home. Find a quick way to healthier air at home thanks to the new AERO 360° PURE moisture absorber by UniBond®! By absorbing excess moisture from the air and improving air quality, the device protects your property, improves your comfort and makes your home healthier.
We are looking for 1250 Insiders who have noticed some form of damp in their homes.

I signed up for The Insiders panel some time ago and have just received an invite from them to apply to test out a new LG smartphone. I logged in, filled in the survey only to then be asked to agree to give my bank details so The Insiders can take £250 guarantee if the phone gets lost or stolen during the trial.
Although they say that no money will be taken, not only does it imply that after the trial is over, they want the phone back, but also, if they decide it's damaged they could also take £250!
Since the first rule of product testing is NEVER hand over your bank details, I didn't accept the T&C's.
Has anyone heard of a product testing company doing this before. It has put me off!0 -
I got the email to, I don't rember signing up to the company. I do a lot of surveys and test product, but have never been asked for my bank details before I also decided it not worth the risk.Sealed pot challenge member 4370
