I really don't think I'll be able to do this, has anyone else had this problem?

The Perfume Shop (or is it Fragrance shop? I can't remember) need to see photo ID before giving you your prize. I emailed them passport ID but blacked out passport number etc so it was just left with my name/DOB and photo and they were fine with that.
I can only assume it's to make sure that you're over 18 as perfume has alcohol in.

Was it in the T&Cs that you'd have to do this?
I once won a mouse mat and was asked for photo ID. I concluded that it wasn't worth it!
If it's for something you really want then offer a birth certificate (blank out all info apart from name and d.o.b)0 -
It was the perfume shop, I think I might have to leave collecting the prize at the moment. Due to a few personal problems I would need to get a copy of my birth certificate, I don't have a passport or driving license.:(ABCDEFGHIJKL:jNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0

I've won a few comps with them hun and always have to send ID. I think its to do with the comps being 18+. Its normal for them to do this. You can blank out anything you don't want them to see like passport number etc. They're really only interested in the dob and pic. Other forms of picture ID would be fine probably. If no scanner printer just take a pic with your phone of the ID and attach to email. Drivers license etc. They're a huge company and perfectly legit and safe to send it to.August-September 2017: Lots of stuff

Just applied for a copy of my birth certificate, quite painless, didn't realise it could be done online.ABCDEFGHIJKL:jNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0

Heaven knows but they accepted it anyway :T And I am over 18 and it was me:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
Thinking about it though - any winner could photocopy someone elses passport, like a parents! For example, a teenager might enter to win alcopops or wine for a Friday night out on the street corner and enter in their parents name:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0
