Rossendales "Enquiry" Letter

Yes. Tell them not to be thick, as your dispute was obvious. You do not recognise the debt and they have provided no proof that it is owed by you, contrary to OFT guidelines. You will be reporting them to the OFT and trading standards.Still rolling rolling rolling......

Ok will send them another letting demanding proof of liability, though out of interest what would they provide that constitutes proof?
Thanks![FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

Hi MK
It probably makes more sense to first see what (if anything) Rossendales send back in the way of paperwork, and then judge whether that constitutes proof.
I suppose a copy of the phone contract and copies of subsequent statements showing payments made would help their cause. Whether they have such documents is another matter altogether.

Hi Dennis,
In their letter, they stated they have put the account on hold and won't do anything until I send them a letter to explain my dispute, so they're not in the process of sending me anything else.
I've sent them the letter re-requesting proof, but will provide an update thereafter.
Thanks for your advice!![FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

I just wanted to share that after re-requesting proof, I never heard back from them again

The reason I posted this to re-ignite is if anyone is ever worried about a similar situation, hopefully they feel better after reading this!![FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."
