We've just paid off the last credit card. It feels very strange but then I guess it'll take a while to sink in. I had to run to the bank before it shut as my other half had the car. It's going to take a bit of getting used to not just having a car to jump into but I didn't use it that much and at least i'll get fitter.

It feels really strange because I don't really believe it. We're having friends round tonight so that will be a nice way to celebrate. If anything, I feel like spending money even less now as I don't want to get back in debt.
Our next aim is to overpay on the mortgage so I guess we'll be throwing spare money at that now as it's quite big. We're not buying anything on credit again unless we have the cash to pay it off at the end of the month.
Right, going to cancel my car insurance now, that'll save another £26 a month!January budget
