Co op

Options
The co op does it again.
I went there today to get the free mince pies which you get when you buy the mulled wine.
The manager said there wasn't an offer like that on.
I checked there web page and there is and it runs out tomorrow.
What do I do as I cant get there now and when you try getting there offers on the day it runs out they say the offer finishes on that day ie it runs until 9th instead of the 10th.

Is it "Participating stores only"? The Co-op does have a wide range of store sizes.

If not, then take a screen print of the online offer and drop a line to Co-op HQ.
If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5? :)
  • I had to do that with an offer they had on in the summer.
It was for a Buy One Get Two Free Kitchen Rolls.
They had hundreds of them stacked up. The offer ran out on the day I was there. But they said it wasn't on offer.
I may try again with this one.
How comes the Manager had no idea what is on offer in his store where I live.
    Really annoying.

I don't know where you live but here in Lincolnshire we have The Co-op Foodstore and also The Lincolnshire Co-op...

I often get confused which offers are for which co-op!

  • All sorted. The store was wrong. The offer was in the store I went to and plenty of both stocks. so I emailed them.

Going by the number of mince pies going out they must be good ;)
I find contacting a company via Twitter much quicker these days though not always and not everybody is on Twitter.

Will have to look to see what's on offer after the 18th to go with the 20% discount too :D

    I have no idea.
Like I said the Manager said there wasn't such an offer on so I emailed and phoned the company. The lady I spoke to was very nice and apologized and said she will phone the store and in the meantime as the offer runs out today will send me a voucher instead.
I just don't understand the store at all. It happens quite a lot and even when an offer is on on that day they say no it finishes today.

considering the mulled wine is only £3.99 a bottle, it's a good offer.
