basically my 2nd youngest son lives with his dad full time, but comes to stay more than 3 nights a week, he tends to go wherever the parent lenient at the time is tbh, but his father is saying he doesnt stay here at all an has informed csa of this. how can i prove against what hes saying? the school ring me when hes feeling ill to come an get him or to check that he stayed the night before if hes forgotten something. theyve been ringing me alot lately due to him havin to go to hospital due to injuries in rugby, and hes still registered under me at the doctors and hospital. if anyone can lend any help with how i prove he stays here, that would be great, as i have a sneaky feeling csa are going to go against me, an pls, before anyone mentions, its not the money, its the fact that my ex is still a bare face liar after 12 years apart, my son is 14, many thanks

Hi Emmy,
From my limited knowledge, i would guess you need to start gathering evidence to prove the amount of days you have your son in the year.
I can't post a link, if you google "shared care cms" the 2nd link will take you to a Gov website, look at step 6.
If this evidence is accepted by the CSA they can reduce your payments.
Diaries, calenders, receipts will all count as evidence i believe. Speak to a case worker for a full list of evidence they would accept, this may save time.
Any decision made can be appealed so don't be put off.

Scrupulous records - preferably contemporaneous will strengthen your case. It's helpful to make a note of anything you did with your son on the nights he stayed - even if it's something mundane like watching a TV program - helps yo jog your memory when challenged.0
