Am I getting this wrong?

OK so in the midst of gaining and setting up interviews for this week, I have 2 knockbacks from last week - 1 has totally caught me by surprise so I've asked hoping for feedback in my reply (I know they probably won't but didn't hurt to ask I figured)
Questions are, am I really in the wrong for staying loyal by my employers? the rule book says you must never get negative
and also
Is it not such a positive thing to make it known you have other 'interviews' though I don't use that word more appointment if I really have no option like 1 day last week when I had 2 interviewers wanting to interview at same time,
same this week two again wanting same time, arrrgghh what to do, it is like to the employers you should only have 1 interview per week and that's it, infact I thought I had blown it with one coming up this week before I've started, they gave me feedback after a telephone interview and afraid when I seen it re-advertised over this weekend I automatically thought I'd blown it then with the 2 employers just laughing at me last week saying my loyality was miss-placed and all this, I'm all for not knowing what to expect now but I'm really beginning to think am I'm missing something or just filling numbers now

I am sorry but have you just thrown a dictionary at your keyboard to see what words would come out. What are you asking?
What rule book?
who are you being loyal to, or not as the case may be?0 -
I do like your posts, its like a little test, trying to work out what the question is or what you are on about. I haven't managed it so far though.

It's Ok people, I'm going to have a go at this one

Q1:' am I really in the wrong for staying loyal by my employers?'...
I would have thought it was expected to stay loyal to an employer.
'...the rule book says you must never get negative '
The rule book? I don't know this rule book but generally speaking negativity does no-one any good. You certainly won't get far being negative to employers.
Tbh, I'm not sure I got the meaning of this first question (s) right but I thought i'd have a crack at it.
Q2: 'Is it not such a positive thing to make it known you have other 'interviews'?'
This one's easy -NO!0 -

I'm not sure who has been laughing at you for being loyal to your company? I can understand people being surprised if you have stayed in one place for a long time and it can been people are reluctant because they can think that you haven't progressed and you have stagnated, on the other hand I think loyalty is a good thing. I mean let's face it, if someone is laughing at you for being loyal then they probably aren't going to be loyal to you and flexible in their approach.
In terms of whether you should declare other interviews then yes, I would. It makes then think there is competition and they will have to work hard to get you. By saying appointments it either says to me that you are meeting your friend for lunch or something and can't be bothered to cancel or that you have medical issues.
Oh and your other point about not being negative about your last employer, yes I would try and be nice and positive. 1 the world is a small place and word might easily get back to them (which could harm a reference), 2 it's the right thing to do but also if you are being unpleasant about your ex (or soon to be ex) company then what's the betting you won't be the same with you new company and say things behind their back?
